Threshold
What has been denied begins to surface.
It gathers, it presses, it enters the life you are living.
The catalyst in the depth has taken hold.
Reflection
And there comes a point when you see clearly:
this is a reckoning,
a re-forming,
a path of reunion.
The Greeks called this anagnorisis—
the moment a life recognizes itself
and cannot return unchanged.
There is a moment in every life that is not entered by will.
This place was formed wherever something true was overruled.
What was denied descended.
What was abandoned gathered force below awareness.
What could not be lived above was buried below.
Then life closed around what had been buried.
The managed life began to fail.
The old arrangement lost its hold.
What had been buried rose with demand.
This is descent into the crucible.
Here resistance spends itself.
Here explanation loses authority.
Here the soul turns toward what was left below.
You are in the undertow.
This is where what was abandoned in you summons.
What Was Buried Returns
What has been kept beneath awareness begins to move with force.
Life Is Re-Formed
What was left below returns and reshapes the life that could not include it.
From the Ancient Path
“Deep calls to deep…”
— Book of Psalms 42:7
Consecration
These words stand with the moment when what has been buried rises
and what cannot hold it gives way.
Where This Meets Life
In the season when something you have set aside will no longer remain absent from your life.
When the life you have built begins to strain under what it does not include,
and something essential insists on being taken back in.
Descent is not the end of the movement. It is the condition that makes return inevitable.
